HSM Digital Shredder is a portable IT utility tool for the decommissioning of hard drives. It includes the main Shredder unit, three personality blocks and a label printer.

 HSM digital shredder utilizes Secure Erase to eliminate the data; if the hard drive is too old for this method the Digital Shredder eliminates the data using a different but safe method.One of its advantages is that the hard drive can be re-used after being wiped. For security reasons, this device is controlled by an administrator and is protected from misuse by unauthorized persons.
